On March 19, 2025, the QuanG team held a new Welcome Meeting for the PhD students and their supervisors recruited through call #4, at LPMMC in Grenoble.

Overview of the QuanG doctoral programme

The project coordinator and team presented:

• The objectives of QuanG,
• The structure of the doctoral training,
• The obligations of fellows and supervisors,
• The benefits of the MSCA COFUND funding (mobility, secondments, training activities, etc.).

Introduction to the Data Management Plan (DMP)

A dedicated session was devoted to the Data Management Plan. The data team of Université Grenoble Alpes explained:

• What a DMP is and why it matters,
• Best practices for research data management,
• The key questions to consider when drafting a DMP at the start of the PhD.
